📍 GoTo Creates a Dedicated Partner Network Built for MSPs
GoTo has launched the LogMeIn Partner Network — a formalized channel program for MSPs, GSIs, and resellers. Partners get a structured path to sell GoTo Resolve and the LogMeIn Remote Access family.

What this means for MSPs: If you're already reselling remote access or endpoint management tools, this is worth evaluating. Dedicated MSP programs typically mean better deal registration terms, support prioritization, and MDF access. Compare GoTo's margin structure against your current stack before committing.

⏮️ Microsoft Backs Down on Force-Installing Copilot Into M365 Desktops
Microsoft has paused the automatic M365 Copilot app deployment — indefinitely. Originally slated for October 2025, slipped to December, now on hold after commercial admins pushed back. Existing installs unaffected; EEA was already excluded.

What this means for MSPs: The unsolicited Copilot icon surprise is on pause. Treat it as breathing room to build a proper Copilot enablement and governance plan before Microsoft restarts the rollout. MSPs with a clear Copilot advisory position will win those licensing conversations.

👓 GlassWorm Malware Has Infected 400+ Code Repos — and It's Nearly Invisible
GlassWorm has compromised 400+ repositories across GitHub, npm, VSCode extensions, and OpenVSX. The attack uses stolen GitHub tokens to force-push malware embedded in invisible Unicode characters — hard to catch with standard code review.

What this means for MSPs: Audit your team's VS Code extensions against a known-good baseline today. If you support dev clients, brief them now. Traditional code scanners won't catch the invisible-Unicode trick without specific tooling.

🇰🇵 North Korea Has 100,000 Fake IT Workers Inside Companies. Right Now.
A joint IBM X-Force + Flare Research report details the full infrastructure: ~100K workers across 40 countries, $500M/year flowing to Pyongyang. US-identity fabrication, interview coaching, professional recruiters. These workers are inside client networks.

What this means for MSPs: Tighten identity verification for any remote contractor onboarding. Checklist: live video interview, government ID cross-check, background screening. Strong advisory for any remote-first hiring client you support.

Protect online privacy from the very first click

Your digital footprint starts before you can even walk.

In today’s data economy, “free” inboxes from Google and Microsoft, like Gmail and Outlook, are funded by data collection. Emails can be analyzed to personalize ads, train algorithms, and build long-term behavioral profiles to sell to third-party data brokers.

From family updates, school registrations, medical reports, to financial service emails, social media accounts, job applications, a digital identity can take shape long before someone understands what privacy means.

Privacy shouldn’t begin when you’re old enough to manage your settings. It should be the default from the start.

Proton Mail takes a different approach: no ads, no tracking, no data profiling — just private communication by default. Because the next generation deserves technology that protects them, not profiles them.
